TDN

Sound capsule

TDN (Travail de Nuit — Night Work) is a sound capsule about working at night. The work of friends, of partying, of cleaning, of forgetting. In this capsule, I try to convey how I experienced a life split into two shifts, by day and by night.

Originally a way to earn a living, La Fabuleuse Cantine became a space of emotional comfort, but with exhausting rhythms and interactions. Bar life combined with student life led to memory and sleep problems, and sometimes more…

The audio-capsule format makes the audience blind and focuses attention and emotion on sound. It reinforces the bubble of forgetting between life and work. TDN was produced at La Fabuleuse Cantine with microphones and a sequencer (OP-Z), then edited in Reaper.

La Ronde — Sept. 2025

Brain Scratch

Music video · Stop motion

Brain Scratch is a music video for Chiroptera by Thomas Bangalter. Chiroptera was originally the score of a contemporary dance piece created with Damien Jalet and JR at the Opéra Garnier. The music struck me deeply and fed my imagination somewhere between sleep and reality. Brain Scratch sets out to transcribe my interpretations of this music, between sleep and reality.

The title refers to an episode of the anime series Cowboy Bebop in which a child in a coma, kept alive by a machine, manages to dream and interact with reality and the digital world, to the point of believing in eternal life through the digitisation of the soul.

The video was not scripted in advance: it was made step by step in stop motion in Procreate Dreams. The photos that appear are textures made with a scanner, or taken from the anime Cowboy Bebop and the Chiroptera performance.

ZERØ1 2026 & FEMA 2026

LROLV

Video · Stop motion

Le Rêve Ou La Vie (LROLV — The Dream or Life) is directly inspired by Chris Marker's short film La Jetée. The project is an echo and a free interpretation of the film. It also continues the themes of Brain Scratch, reflecting on dreams as a form of refuge or headlong escape.

Le Rêve Ou La Vie is a video work created in response to an open call from the ZERØ1 festival and FEMA La Rochelle.

The video and music are original compositions; the images are taken from the film. The project was made in stop motion in Procreate Dreams.

With Marie Villain — ZERØ1 2025

Sound Walk

Audio game · Mediation

During the ZERØ1 festival, the sound walks were designed to link the festival's exhibition venues across the city. Together with Marie Villain, who wrote the text, we carried out research into audio games. The result is a series of four sound capsules, halfway between game and meditation, inviting listeners to see the space they move through differently.

This production is both an artistic work and a form of mediation at the heart of the ZERØ1 festival.

We recorded ambient sound along the whole route (La Coursive – Hôtel de Ville), then segmented it to offer different interactions with the listener. I made the sound effects with the OP-Z and Logic. Voices and texts are by Marie Villain.

TU Cie — FLEAA 2026

7 pieds sur 3

Stage music · Animation

For a dance-theatre piece created with TU Cie, I composed several accompaniments using a sampler. These soundscapes allowed the performer to evoke the unravelling of a harmony.

For the same piece, I also had the opportunity to create an animation between two scenes.

“Nightmare” scene

The compositions were made on an OP-Z sampler with Ulysse Debord Germain. The animation was made in Procreate Dreams.

FLEAA 2025

FLEAA Poster

Illustration · Animation

For FLEAA, La Rochelle's student arts festival, one of my proposals was selected by the organisers. The illustration shows a body — or several, superimposed — performing a multitude of movements, reflecting a campus with a diverse cultural life and practices that flourish during the festival.

The illustration was handed over to graphic designers, who turned it into a poster.

Poster animation

The poster was made in Procreate, based on an illustration drawn on paper. The illustration was later developed into a short animation.

Amandine Berton — ZERØ1 2025

Psaume à trois voix

Soundtrack · Dance

This composition explores different meanings of “resonance” — musical, psychological and physiological. Musically, the resonance of the religious choir and the silence that follows are translated into impact, impulse or linked movements, interpreting musical resonance in different ways.

Psychologically, it evokes non-verbal communication and feelings, conveying a message through the lyricism of the upper body. Physiologically, it makes the mind or the heart vibrate, combining these aspects in a non-narrative choreography and score, so that the audience can let the choreography resonate in their own way.

Soundtrack for Psaume à trois voix, choreographed by Amandine Berton, made in Reaper from a sample of the choir of the Atlantique Ballet Contemporain (ABC).

Drone practice

Taking Flight

Video · FPV drone

Flying drones has allowed me to make many small pieces and video experiments. It keeps renewing my points of view and my creative fields in video and editing.

It is also a world of technique and a community of pilots whose commitment and artistic work inspire me.

About

I am interested in many forms of visual and sound creation. I like unsettling distortions that let viewers discover and interpret my projects over several encounters. I try to give shape to my interest in different media by actually making something with them: drones, cathode-ray televisions, animation, mapping, music, dance.

I am inspired by the music of Nicolas Snyder, Cristobal Tapia de Veer, Thomas Bangalter and other artists. In drawing and animation, I am drawn to the psychedelic and unsettling worlds found in the work of Moebius, Felix Colgrave and, more recently, Joseph Bennett.
